We have now stopped taking orders for the winter 2016/17 planting season. Our 2017/18 list is currently being prepared. It will be available from 1st May when we will start taking orders for delivery next autumn/winter.
We currently produce this variety to order only through our bud-grafting service. You cannot order on line. If you wish to order please contact us using the messaging facility on the contact us page. Let us have your name, postal address, telephone and email address as well as which variety you would like us to produce, how many and on what rootstock. Bud-grafting is carried out in late July and early August. The trees would be supplied approximately 18 months later. We normally need to have received orders by the beginning of July. History and description of Santa Claus

An old French variety.

Very large, round conical fruit. Brownish red russetted skin, Creamy white, quite granular flesh. Sweet with good flavour.

Vigorous, upright tree. Light cropper. Best grown in a warm location. Attractive red autumn foliage.
