| Raised in about 1790 by Mrs Goose, of Horsham
Street, St Faiths, near Norwich from a Nonpareil
seedling. A late dessert apple almost completely
covered with a cinnamon russet over a red cheek.
Has the rich, sweet-sharp flavour of the Nonpareil. |
