History and description of Rosmarina Bianca

Arose in Bolzano, South Tyrol Italy in the early 19th Century or earlier. Tall, conical fruit. Pale gold skin. Firm, sweet flesh. The name arose because of its distinctive rosemary aroma which does not develop fully in UK conditions. Keeps its shape when cooked.
