We currently produce this variety to order only through our bud-grafting service. You cannot order on line. If you wish to order please contact us using the messaging facility on the contact us page. Let us have your name, postal address, telephone and email address as well as which variety you would like us to produce, how many and on what rootstock. Bud-grafting is carried out in late July and early August. The trees would be supplied approximately 18 months later. We normally need to have received orders by the beginning of July. History and description of Belle de Septembre

Believed to have been raised by Van Mons in Belgium first recorded in 1853.

Medium large, round-oblong fruit. Deep red to purple skin covered with a blue bloom and numerous yellow spots. Pimrose yellow firm juicy flesh with clinging stone. Sweet and pleasant flavour. Excellent colour for jam and cooking. Ripens very late making it useful for spreading the cropping season.

Vigorous tree. Self-fertile but reports on reliability of cropping vary.
