History and description of McLaughlin

Raised in Bangor, Maine, USA by James McLaughlin c 1840 probably from an open pollinated Greengage.

Medium large, round squarish fruit. Yellow, juicy flesh. Clinging stone. Sweet with good flavour.

Moderately vigorous tree. Fair cropper but requiring good conditions.
