History and description of Corabel

Corabel is a new cobnut variety from France. It produces large round high quality nuts which are sweet with a good flavour. The trees are vigorous and upright producing fewer suckers than most other varieties. It is a precocious and heavy cropping variety. It also produces abundant catkins and is a good pollinator of other varieties. It is pollinated by Tonda di Giffoni, Gunslebert and Halls Giant
