History and description of Monidel

A more highly coloured sport of Delbardestivale raised at the Delbard Nursery in France in 1990. Medium to large conical-oblong fruit. Smooth skin with a bright red flush and stripes over a yellow background. Crisp, juicy, cream coloured flesh. Sweet with a hint of aniseed when fully ripe.
