Propagation is carried out in late July / early August, and the grafted trees would be available for supply in December the following year (approximately 14 months later).

History and description of Bascombe Mystery

An old English variety of unknown origin first recorded in 1831. Medium sized, round fruit with green skin. Dull in appearance. Crisp flesh with a strong sweet-sharp flavour.
