History and description of Caroline

Arose before 1822 in Lord Suffield's Garden at Blickling, Norfolk, UK and was named after his wife. Medium sized, flat shaped fruit. Red stripes over yellow skin often with poor colour. Firm, crisp, sweet flesh.
