Bud-grafting is carried out in late July and early August. The trees would be supplied approximately 18 months later. We normally need to have received orders by the beginning of July. History and description of McLaughlin

Raised in Bangor, Maine, USA by James McLaughlin c 1840 probably from an open pollinated Greengage.

Medium large, round squarish fruit. Yellow, juicy flesh. Clinging stone. Sweet with good flavour.

Moderately vigorous tree. Fair cropper but requiring good conditions.
