History and description of Brown's Seedling

Raised before 1874 by the nurseryman Brown of Stamford, Lincolnshire, UK. Medium sized, flat-round fruit. Orange flush over yellow skin. Quite sweet with good flavour. Cooks to a bright yellow puree.
