History and description of Braintree Seedling

Raised in 1930 by Mrs Humphreys of Braintree, Essex, UK allegedly from a Gladstone seedling. Medium sized, flat-round fruit. Orange-red flush and stripes over yellow skin. Firm, cream coloured flesh. Sweet with a rich aromatic flavour and a hint of pineapple.
