History and description of Golden Nugget

Raised by C J Bishop, Kentville Agricultural Station, Nova Scotia 1932 from a cross between Golden Russet and Cox's Orange Pippin. Small conical fruit. Attractive yellow skin with orange flush. Intense, sweet, aromatic flavour with some pineapple acidity. Good disease rsistance. Attractive blossom.
