Bud-grafting is carried out in late July and early August. The trees would be supplied approximately 18 months later. We normally need to have received orders by the beginning of July. History and description of Roter Eiserapfel

Arose early 18th Century in Germany. Widely grown throughout Europe in the 19th Century. Very attractive pink flush over a yellow bloomy skin. Firm, moderately flavoured flesh. Vigorous triploid tree.
