History and description of Red Haven

Red Haven is a mid season yellow fleshed peach from America. The fruit is large and the orange coloured skin is almost completely covered in a deep red flush. The flesh is firm, juicy and deep yellow with some red colour around the stone. It is sweet with excellent flavour and texture. The free stone, firm flesh and beautiful colour make it very suitable for fruit salads and cooking as well as eating fresh. Reliable heavy cropper with attractive small dark pink blossom. Red Haven is has some resistance to peach leaf curl.
