History and description of Sima Joon®

One of the best seedling apples raised by Karim Habibi, Keepers Nursery. The fruit is crisp with a perfectly balanced sweet/acidic taste. Known previously as seedling 79. An openly pollinated Rajka seedling. Dr Joan Morgan has expressed high praise for Sima Joon. Of all my seedlings which she has tried so far it is only second to Primrose Pippin, although it is not far off in eat experience and it is certainly the more attractive apple of the 2 new varieties.
