History and description of Nuvar® Anniversary

Nuvar® Anniversary pear was raised in 1968 from a Williams Bon Chretien x Conference by Dr Frank Alston at East Malling Reserach Station in Kent. The fruit is similar in form, appearance and season to Williams Bon Chretien.
